AirCook Privacy Policy

§ 1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy describes how we process the personal data of users of the mobile application AirCook (the "App").

§ 2. What data we collect

In connection with use of the App, we may process the following data:

User account data

  • email address,
  • first name,
  • last name.

Data related to use of the app

  • saved favourite recipes,
  • planned meals and meal schedule,
  • technical information necessary for the app to function,
  • data related to an active subscription and payment status (handled via the App Store / Google Play).

§ 3. How we collect data

Data is collected:

  • directly from the user during registration,
  • when signing in with an email address,
  • when signing in with Google or Apple,
  • when using features of the App.

§ 4. Purposes of processing

We process data solely in order to:

  • create and manage the user account,
  • enable signing in to the App,
  • save favourite recipes,
  • operate the meal planner,
  • synchronise data between devices,
  • provide the premium subscription,
  • contact the user for technical or support matters,
  • ensure the security and proper operation of the App.

§ 5. Legal basis for processing

Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), in particular on the basis of:

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract (providing services within the App),
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests of the controller (security, development and maintenance of the App),
  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – legal obligations where required by law.

§ 6. Sharing data

We do not sell user data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data may only be entrusted to entities that support the operation of the App, such as:

  • hosting and technical infrastructure providers,
  • authentication providers (Google, Apple),
  • payment operators (Apple App Store, Google Play),
  • database and technical service providers.

These entities process data only to the extent necessary to provide their services.

§ 7. Retention

We retain data for the duration of the user account or until a request for deletion, unless longer retention is required by law.

§ 8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data,
  • rectification,
  • erasure,
  • restriction of processing,
  • object,
  • data portability,
  • lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

§ 9. Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and personal data by sending a message to:

support@aircook.app

Your request will be handled without undue delay, in accordance with applicable law.

§ 10. Data security

We take appropriate care to protect user data against loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

§ 11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy in the event of legal or technical changes or further development of the App. The current version will always be available in the App and on the website.

Cookies and website analytics

On the AirCook website, we may use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, traffic sources, UTM campaign parameters, and how pages are used.

Google Analytics runs only after you consent to analytics cookies. Until consent is granted, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics storage denied.

You can accept or reject analytics in the cookie banner. We store your choice in the browser so we do not ask on every visit.
